This privacy notice describes how Manawell Technologies ("we") processes (e.g. collect, use, share and otherwise process) personal information when engaging in projects involving sensitive data.

Which data do we process and for what purpose?
When building data-driven solutions, various personal information may be necessary to collect and process depending on the specific application, service, and use case requested by the customer. The specific purpose of the collection and processing is made known and agreed upon with our customer delivering the personal information or defined in connection to the collection of the personal information.

Manawell only collect and receive personal information which is relevant and necessary for the purpose of providing the services requested by the customer. Manawell will not use any personal information for other purposes which are not compatible with the original purpose for which the personal information was collected without explicit consent from the customer. Compilation for statistical purposes is considered compatible with the original purpose.

Sharing information
We do not share any personal information with anyone outside Manawell.

In particular Manawell does not transfer personal information collected or received by Manawell to companies outside Manawell for the purpose of marketing products and services from such companies.

Manawell make use of a number of service suppliers for specific tasks related to ongoing projects. In the event that such suppliers have access to personal information collected or processed by Manawell, the supplier acts as sub-processor according to written agreement and instructions from Manawell. Manawell is responsible for insuring that the use of such service suppliers are compliant to local personal data protection regulation and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

Retention of information
The personal information provided to Manawell is processed and stored for a particular purpose and is collected for as long as the particular purpose is valid and after this for a limited time due to our purposely determined back-up and deletion routines. Data will be deleted whenever the personal information becomes irrelevant to its original purpose or whenever requested by the customer.

Manawell is dedicated to protecting personal information. We have adopted internal security policies and instructed our employees accordingly in order to comply with applicable legislation on Personal Data Protection. We have implemented appropriate procedures and security measures to protect personal information from being destroyed, lost or altered, publicized unlawfully and against being disclosed to unauthorized persons or otherwise processed contrary to applicable Personal Data Protection legislation.

Your rights as a data subject
  • You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data.
  • You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and have the processing of your personal data restricted.
  • You have an unconditional right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
  • If processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent. You may withdraw your consent for a specific service by following the instructions for the specific service, see specific service website.
  • You have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability).
  • You may always lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. The Danish Data Protection Agency.

There may be conditions or limitations on these rights. It is therefore not certain for example you have the right of data portability or to be deleted in the specific case - this depends on the specific circumstances of the processing activity.
